Aura Lounge in downtown Murfreesboro opened this week – included in the festivities are eight paintings – landscapes completed last fall and this spring. The paintings will be on the walls through the 4th of July weekend.

Ten paintings now up at Blackstone Restaurant and Brewery, West End Ave in Nashville. This Friday is the Pancakes and Booze event at Open Lot in East Nashville. Three recent paintings will show there….and it promises to be an interesting evening !

Spring is in full bloom….the sky is clear with forsythia, tulips, redbuds, pears and daffodils….and this studio is full with the aroma of oil and turps!

The painting Blue Bounce is on exhibit at Association for Visual Arts in Chattanooga. The space is an excellent resource for south east Tennesse and northern Georgia. www.avarts.org

The next generation will define the significant. The art of the present is always dynamic….it always help to prioritize contemporary work by having a thorough understanding of the art of the past… art is never created in a vacuum but clearly reflects/expresses the spirit of the present
